Granger & Campbell

This is a very nice example of a 1960's Grainger & Campbell bagpipe.  George Grainger and Neil Campbell founded the business in 1946.  Their bagpipes and chanters were very highly respected and enjoyed great popularity in the 1960's and early 1970's.  The business closed in 1989.  Alistair Fletcher worked there during the 1980's before establishing his own bagpipe making business.

The picture below is a very clean example of their work with catalin.  The design of the bagpipe is somewhat chunky.  In contrast are the relatively narrow tuning pins.
