Jim Tweedie was a turner for Wm. Sinclair and Hugh MacPherson during the 1960's before going out on
his own in the 1970's. It is very difficult to distinguish the three makes from each other. Tweedie
drones are very full sounding and the bass drone is magnificent.

The two on the left are Tweedie. The rest are all Sinclair. The similarities are obvious.

This is how they find me sometimes. This is an excellent Tweedie bagpipe that has been smothered in
something and put away in the basement. The owner declined to have it restored so be on the lookout!
It may surface some day and whoever gets it will have an awesome bagpipe!
