Unknown # 12

These bagpipes are in the custody of the Provincial Museum of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  They are attributed to Colin Fraser, piper for Sir George Simpson, Governor of the Hudson's Bay Company in Canada from 1821 to 1856.  A short account of Fraser and a picture of his pipes can be found in the book "Gaelic Piping."  These bagpipes appear to be made by an Edinburgh maker, although enough detail is not visible to make a more positive identification.
