MacPherson bagpipes were actually made by Wm. Sinclair, Leith. Jim Tweedie also worked for Sinclair
and strong similarities can be seen in all three makes of pipes. MacPherson was said to have purchased
Sinclair's business in the late 1940's but then sold it back to Sinclair a couple years later.

The pages below are from MacPherson's catalog in the late 40's or early 50's when their shop was located
on Ridgeway Road in St. Catharines. In the 1960's they relocated on Lake Street, just a few blocks from
my house. Later they moved downtown on St. Paul Street and finally they closed around 1990.
