The Bagpipe Place Tutorial

This tutor is dedicated to everyone who wants to play the bagpipes but believes they are too old, too young, or that they don't have enough talent to do it.  I'm here to tell you that you can do it and I'm going to show you how!  It's just that simple!

Adults learn differently than youngsters.  They are generally more cautious and less intuitive.  A youngster may mimic an embellishment or phrase correctly without understanding what he or she is doing where most adults need to break it down and understand it before they'll even attempt it.

This learning path is very appropriate for both adults and youngsters.  I developed my thoughts and techniques teaching adults and youngsters over the past thirty years. Currently I teach bagpipes at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy in Delafield Wisconsin.  Following this curriculum my beginning students are able to play all the tunes on the bagpipes in about five months.

If you're an adult student, I'd like you to read this first.  It's worth the few minutes that it will take to read.  Can I guarantee that you'll be able to learn correctly and play these tunes.  Yes, I know that I can.
