J & R Glen – 1920 - Caribbean Cocuswood.  Key identifying features of Glen bagpipe:

1. Flat bush (no projecting bead)

2. Flat ivory ring (no projecting bead)

3. Significant fountain under bell

4. Distinctive shape to cord beads

5. Significant sloping shoulders at tuning chamber

6. Flat ivory ferrule (no projecting bead)

7. Distinctive cut bead on projecting mount

8. Flat ivory ferrule (no projecting bead)

9. Distinctive beading and combing – straight sides to stocks

10. Flat bottom on stock – small bead – also note straight side to stock – tenor stocks may or may not be the same length.
