Complete Bagpipe restoration services. I've been rebuilding and restoring bagpipes for about 30 years
now. I've lost count of the bagpipes that have gone through my hands.
My restoration services
generally involve a thorough and complete overhaul of a bagpipe. This may include removal of the old
finish, oil bath, polishing of bores, deep cleaning of beading and combing, refitting loose fixtures,
cleaning of ivory, new finish, polishing silver and nickel, and rehemping. I'll also tie in bags and
fully outfit the bagpipe with reeds.
Most importantly, I don't do anything until I've fully inspected
and documented your bagpipe and reported back to you. My goal is to return the best bagpipe possible
with no surprises!
